I work for a telephone company. A piece of equipment I use is called an inductive amplifier, (IA). I place a tone generator on a cable and the IA allows me to locate that cable. The tone generator pulses a two tone or oscillating current through the cable and generates a pulsing EMF. The IA picks up this EMF and plays it over a built in speaker. You can hear the tone without touching the wires. What ever is being transmitted over the wire, conversations, tones, etc., using voltage or analog methods, can be picked up by using the IA and the EMF generated.
EMF or electromagnetic field is generated by current flowing through a wire. Many things generate an EMF, including, in theory, a spirit. So I thought why not try my IA from work. If a spirit is manipulating an EMF to speak or manifest, I believe in theory, I should be able to translate that over the speaker. I think it will sound like multiple levels of "buzzing" or maybe even broken speech. Either way it may allow the team to "pin point" a spirit.
I've seen similar devices used, but not exactly the IA I use at work. Who knows, maybe it will produce some great results. Stay tuned and thanks for reading about RIP.
